‘What Jak Could See’ was a private commission. The book is about a young boy who is feeling poorly with a cold. Much to his dismay, his mother insists that he spends the day resting in bed. Jak may be physically confined to his bedroom, but his imagination takes him on a wonderful adventure where he slays a dragon, has a run-in with a giant, and (with a little help from some animal friends) rescues a princess from a castle.
